MCDONOUGH, GA, April 4, 2024 – Local and state leaders will soon gather in Henry County to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for Kelleytown Senior, Henry County’s upcoming affordable senior community, made possible by both state and federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the site location of Kelleytown Senior, 3396 GA 155 N, McDonough, Georgia 30252. Click here for directional map.

Officials from Henry County and the Henry County Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance, as well as other representatives of the community. Kelleytown Senior GP, Paladin, Inc., Georgia Communities, Inc., Affordable Equity Partners, Fairway Management and Fairway Construction are among the participants and partners in this community.

Kelleytown Senior will offer 64 affordable homes and eight market-rate homes. The development will also create 116 new jobs for the local area. The community will consist of one three-story elevator-serviced building with on-site management. Residents at Kelleytown Senior will be able to take advantage of many community spaces, including a business center, community room, fitness center, courtyard and picnic area.
